To support of next phase of growth, Pixieset is hiring a strategic and hands-on Director, Product to drive the vision, development, and execution of our product portfolio. As a Director, Product, you’ll be a key leader within the Product Leadership team, defining product strategy and objectives, and leading a team of talented Product Managers to deliver the product roadmap. You will guide your team to develop innovative tools and solutions that empower over 1 million photographers and creative professionals worldwide. With an eye on customer needs and market trends, you will help drive the company's next phase of growth as we continue to scale.

Your Impact

  • Define and shape the strategy and objectives for Pixieset’s product portfolio to ensure it aligns with company goals and customer needs.
  • Own the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of key initiatives, and guide your team in execution.
  • Develop and implement frameworks to boost the team’s velocity and streamline processes for faster, more efficient product development.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 4-6 Product Managers, fostering growth and excellence within the team.
  • Keep a pulse on the competitive landscape, ensuring Pixieset stays ahead in the market by identifying key opportunities for innovation.
  • Collaborate on pricing strategies for new features, ensuring they align with our value proposition and market positioning.

Role Requirements

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience
  • Experience managing a SaaS product throughout its lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and coach Product Managers, including experience with headcount planning and recruitment
  • Experience in strategic planning, using Product Management frameworks and practices, and establishing pricing models
  • A strong track record of successfully driving roadmap execution and aligning initiatives with business objectives
  • Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills to identify opportunities and solve complex problems
  • Ability to be hands-on, take ownership of projects, and be a driver
  • Strong leadership skills with a commitment to fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment

The typical salary range for this position is: CAD $171,000 - $236,250 annually. Salary offered will be based on skills, experience and market data.
